A Yak in the Classroom’ Is Bhutan’s Second-Ever Oscar

Congratulations to Pawo Choyning Dorji for taking Bhutan to the Oscars 2021 with his marvelous film: Lunana: A Yak in the Classroom.
Tshojo in Lunana, where most of the movie was shot is one of the few settlements that fall on 400 KMS plus trek - the Snowman Trek. This trek is being ranked as the world’s toughest trek by those who have been on it. And coincidentally, Tshojo will be also one of the 4 aid stations for the first ever international Snowman Race scheduled to flag off on 13 October 2021. The Snowman Race is being staged to draw global attention to the climate change agenda.
